The Weekly ONE Thing January 21st- Sparking Joy
It's the start of a new week and time for ONE new thing to focus on. I have been watching the Netflix show, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, (which helped me with my pantry project). One of the things I like most about the show, is that Marie advises her clients to only keep items in their home that "spark joy." I love the idea of thinking about what sparks joy for you. So I thought this week's challenge will be to think of ONE Thing you can do this week that sparks joy for you.
What sparks joy for each of us, has a broad range of possibilities. It might be fun to choose something that is out of your normal routine. Or it could be something you've been wanting to do for a long time, but just haven't made the time for. It could be something that would make this week feel extra special and make you feel happy even anticipating it.
I've decided that my ONE Thing is to go skiing with my son. It is his exam week at school, so we are going to go skiing one day when he doesn't have an exam. I LOVE skiing! It is one of my favourite things to do. And I LOVE spending time with my son, so this is a double-win for me. I can't wait for our ski day. And I am looking forward to hearing what you do for yourself that will add joy to your week. Have fun!
